Oops! Forgot to get register for driving basic theory test. Only recall when it's too late.

Met up with the busy ben for dinner @ Funan and pass him some PS2 games I bought on behalf for him ages ago...
Tomorrow is the funan's 3 hr Mega Sale!. Hope Ivan get his $1 X-Box. GOOD LUCK!

Brought ben all the way to tampines to purchase some cheap PS2 games and also to shop around tampines mall/centry square to look at some pda(s). Met and was introduced to Ben's friend, Rachel along the way... pretty nice lady... hahahha... Rachel and CK in Chemistry...

So wacky seeing a guy playing Time Crisis III using both players (i.e. Guns) at the same time. Chow Yun-Fatt in making???

Had a good long work out today! No, not in the gym. Carrying boxes... etc weighting 15+ kg each around the place... carrying 2~3 in one time... suprise i can still do that!

Office undergoing a spring cleaning today. Tidier and look better. Partitions and tables moved around. I still end up in the same spot.

The World Health Organisation in Geneva took Singapore off its list of SARS-affected areas from Saturday.

If you people read the message box on this blog, you'll have notice that eileen is going to invite us to her wedding dinner in 2 years time. Wow... I have alot of catching up to do.

Farewell lunch for a leaving colleague @ Stamford in NUS. 14 of us... having a 3 course meal. I ordered BBQ Chicken Salad with mango in peanut sauce as appetizer, red snapper with cucumber, carrots as main course, chinese pancake with vallina ice cream, with coffee. Sound filling right??? Nope... I'm still not full after all that. Hahaha...

Believe it or not, at Stamford, it's the first time since the SARS started, my temperature was taken. Phew... passed and given the neon green sticker, even though I felt a bit unwell. Temperature at the time. 36.2 degree celsius... ear thermometer really is super unaccurate...

To my colleague of 1 year, Pei eng. All the best for your future endeavor.

Sony announced PSX. The machine aims to be an all-in-one entertainment device for games, music and movies.

The PSX will feature both DVD and HDD recording functions; the former supporting both DVD+/-R and DVD-R and the latter offering a HDD capacity of 120 GB. The unit will feature an installed TV/BS tuner and an Internet adapter, and will also support USB2.0. Memory sticks will also be supported by the unit.

The disc insertion system of the PSX will utilize a slot mechanism, and will feature the same Emotion Engine chip and graphics synthesizer as its predecessor the PS2. By featuring a real-time OS that is to be used for games, the unit will be capable of high-definition and high-speed recording functions.

Sony claims that the primary strategy behind the PSX as well as the upcoming PSP is to create a fusion of both gaming and general electronics. The company hopes to create a new market that will be driven by the provision of updated game, image, and music-based content.

Hey, I just got my Playstation2 for 4 mths leh. hahahaha

Met up with Alan, Ken and waimun for dinner, pat couldn't join us as he got something on. We bought waimun a t-shirt as a birthday gift from Heeren. It cost us $XX.XX. Went to Genki Sushi at Orchard Meridien Hotel. Had sort of a competition on who can eat the most plate of shushi. Results: Alan - 9, Ken - 9, Waimun - 10, Me - 12.

I won! Wonder if pat is with us, whether would I still win.

Went all the way to Simei to get the photographs printed for waimun & co. Thanks Tang for the FOC photographs. Tried for the first time using singtel *send to purchase can drink from a drink venting machine. Neat. Helpful in situation where you don't have any spare changes. Wonder if there's any surcharge incurred onto me.

Searched for Twins' audio cd at HMV @ Hereen. Negative. Suprisingly!

Assignment posting on Monday evening instead.

Postponed the bday dinner for waimun. He's busy playing majong. It's more important then with us.

hahahaha...... typical lah... Photo printing pilgrimage postponed to sunday(tomorrow) then since not meeting him today.
Pretty short day for me today, woke up @ 2pm (slept "unintentionally" at 5am I think... ) then left for an appointment with client in Jurong. When work is done, already almost 6pm. Did some window shopping @ Jurong Pt trying to get something for someone. Then on to Bugis J for some arcade... yeah. promoted. Endded with a dinner @ KFC alone. Miserable huh??? Guess I'm used to it. hahaha...

Got chance to reflect on myself... and day dream... Zzzzzzzz.
It's cooler outside then @ home. Home like sauna these days due to the on-going upgrading work. Flat on the top floor and can really feel the heat as the roofing is removed, guess the heat resistant??? protecting layer (if there's one) is gone too... the wall feel warm even now at night...

Rounded up 3 ladies for the job vacancies for the PC show... 1 more opening available. Anyone else??? Looking for ladies whom look presentable so we can attract ppls to our fujifilm booth.

Waimun asking for a winning Toto ticket for bday. Ha... if I get one, will be keeping it for myself. Btw this reminded me (heard onsite on friday): a lady working at one of the fujifilm outlet got a winning Toto ticket (5+1) and won 50+K. wow... congrats... I already start to think what if I'm the one with the winning ticket... hahaha... unlikely... don't usually buy Toto...

Seem like there's viruses spreading in the office. Everyone taking turn(s) falling sick.
Today hit a peak, got 4 colleagues on MC, considering we got 16 ppls in total.

I'm one of few ppls not yet kanna...

Volunteer to get some people to help us in the PC show so can help to recommend some friends' friends to the above job opening.
BUT seem becoming more and more like friends helping me find people to fill the vacancies?!?!?!?!? hahahahaha
Am I helping or am I being helped??? Serve me right for being so nosey.

Back home slightly earlier to help a friend do some photo editing work. Photoshop time. Hope it doesn't take up too much time. Repaying back some favours (he print for me photos FOC mah)... hahaha... no complaint.

Going to be at The PC Show (Singapore Expo, June 5 to 8). We are showcasing the Print@Fujifilm, Kiosk, FujiGreenCard at the Fujifilm booth. The Sportster, race queens and free prints are still around I think. More update when I get them.

Singapore ministers, top civil servants to take pay cut. Yap... it's about time...

"GREAT"!!!!! Database Design and Management module's assignment going to be posted on saturday 24-05-2003 evening.

Now... going to be even more occupied.

Taking Matthew's advice and go book the theory test 1st and get the provisional licence. Later then decide on how I'm going for the pratical lessons.

Great show on TV now. A korean comedy movie called "My Wife Is A Gangster". Watching it the 2nd time while I'm typing these words.

2 classic 80's horror movies' villians(?) duke it out.

The choice is clear when I check the passing rate of all the driving centres. Morever I live in Ang Mo Kio.

Or should I take up a private instructor instead which is cheaper and more OTOT??? Any advice from anyone???
